PPQ ONLINE: The Centre for University Quality Management (PPQ) has received the MS ISO 9001: 2015 Surveillance Audit Visit held from 27 February to 2 March 2022 (4 days).
The Surveillance Audit Visit aims to ensure continuous compliance with work processes and service systems while maintaining the MS ISO 9001:2015 certification obtained by UMK on 19 March 2021. The audit was conducted both physically and hybridly where three (3) SIRIM auditors were involved in the audit, namely Cik Hanida Binti Ghazali, En. Mohd Hisyam Bin Mahadi and Mrs. Maznah Binti Isa.
"Congratulations to UMK as only eight (8) OFI (Opportunity for Improvement) are given so that UMK can improve the existing service system . Action has also been taken for the reprimand given last year. Overall, UMK has implemented a quality management system based on the requirements of ISO 9001: 2015 well and also always strives to ensure that UMK's position can be achieved higher in the world ranking" said Ms Hanida Binti Ghazali as the Chief Auditor in the closing session of the Surveillance Audit Visit.
Meanwhile, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Razli Bin Che Razak who chaired the Closing Meeting of the Surveillance Audit Tour congratulated all parties as UMK was able to maintain no Non-Conformance Report (NCR) in the MS ISO 9001:2015 Audit visit. "It is hoped that UMK will always have a robust quality system and serve all better," he said.

It is hoped that the University Quality Management Centre (PPQ) will continue to help improve the quality of UMK as a whole" said PPQ Director, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Noor Hasmini binti Hj. Abd Ghani.
The Opening Meeting and Closing Meeting of the audit visit was also attended by all Deputy Vice-Chancellors as well as the Head of the Responsibility Centre . Hopefully, UMK will continue to excel from time to time.
